Event Format How it Works
1-2-3 Blind Draw A/B/C/D

Teams of four are randomly drawn, you don't pick your group. Each team is built with one A, one B, one C, and one D player by handicap, so every team has a balanced spread of skill.

How it Works

  • Every player plays their own ball on every hole, recording a net score (handicap strokes applied).
  • The number of net scores that count toward the team total rotates on a three-hole cycle:
    • 1st hole of each cycle: the team's single best net ball counts
    • 2nd hole of each cycle: the two best net balls count
    • 3rd hole of each cycle: the three best net balls count
  • The cycle then repeats every three holes for the full round.
  • Maximum score by any player is NET double bogey

Which holes count how many balls

  • 1 best ball: holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16
  • 2 best balls: holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17
  • 3 best balls: holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18

Scoring

  • The team's score is the sum of all counting net balls across the round: 36 scores in total (6 holes counting one, 6 counting two, 6 counting three).
  • Net par for the full counting set is 141. A team at even net par posts 141; teams are scored against that baseline.

Key Details

  • This is a team event with randomly assigned partners, there are no pairing requests.
  • Every player must complete and record all 18 holes so each net ball is available when needed.
